Are all items Christmas-themed?
No. The items included in the gift box are not Christmas-themed. Some items will be wrapped while others will not. While some wrapping paper may feature seasonal designs, the contents themselves are appropriate for a variety of occasions, including Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, birthdays, or “just thinking of you” gifts during the holiday season.
How does shipping work?
All orders are shipped via USPS. Given the nature of a gift box, shipping is charged per box. For the best chance to receive your gift box in time for Christmas, orders should be placed by December 18. Orders received after December 18 will still be shipped, but delivery before Christmas cannot be guaranteed.
Did the small businesses featured in this gift box pay to be included?
No. The businesses were not involved in advance and did not pay to be featured. We independently selected and purchased items we thought would be a good fit, tested them thoroughly, and then approached the businesses for inclusion in this year’s gift box.
Are each of the gift boxes the same?
Essentially. Each box includes the same thoughtfully curated products. However, because we partner with small businesses during the holiday season, each vendor offers two to three options—such as scents, flavors, or colors. As a result, while the core products are consistent, specific variations may differ slightly from box to box.
Do I get to choose products, scents, or flavors?
No. The concept of this gift box is to thoughtfully handle the selection process for you. Each item has been carefully chosen and tested, allowing you to focus on your other holiday priorities. While individual preferences naturally vary and we cannot guarantee every item will be a personal favorite, the collection is curated to appeal to a wide range of tastes. Our goal is to ensure the recipient feels genuinely considered and appreciated, while offering products that most women enjoy. Purchasing this box does involve a small element of trust—and a sense of discovery that many find this as an enjoyable part of the experience.
If I really like one of the items, can I reorder it from Do Not Forget Mom?
If you enjoy several of the items and we have additional gift boxes available, you are welcome to reorder a gift set—even after the holidays. For individual items, we encourage you to purchase directly from the small businesses that create them. Each item includes the maker’s information on its label, making it easy to support them directly.
Will you replace an item if it is stolen from my porch?
Unfortunately, we are unable to replace items that are stolen after delivery. We encourage taking appropriate precautions to help ensure the safe receipt of your package.
Can I return the product if the recipient does not like it?
Due to the nature of the products and the curated gift-box concept, all sales are final and we are unable to accept returns.
Where is Do Not Forget Mom located?
We are located in Nebraska. However, the small businesses featured in the gift sets include Montana, Nebraska, Kansas, Massachusetts, and Colorado.
